Sure Can Party

This past weekend was our fourth or fifth mini-tour for our 80s dance-party-electro-funk band the Omega Moos. Basically, the Omega Moos is an 80s cover band that makes you love the songs you hate. This past weekend we played the lovely "dirty bird" (Bluebird) in Bloomington, Indiana as well as a late night show at Chicago's own Metro. Both nights were filled with electro-funk improvs and cover songs from '73 thru '89, ranging from Sugarloaf to Genesis to Corey Hart. Coupled  with a few New Deal tunes and some originals from Jamie "Guitar" Shields, it was a dance party for the ages. DJ Booger on the 1's and 2's (Wade Wilby) opened up for the Moos on Saturday getting the crowd pumped up and ready for some old school beats. The Moos will be teaming up with Electron (Magner, Browstein, Russo, Hamilton) on October 12th in Connecticut if you want to catch a show! Check out our myspace or facebook page and join in on the fun....because you know those Moos sure can party!
