We are thrilled the Death By Stereo pre-order is finally live. It's been a labor of love for over 2 years & now it's time to share. We figured there would be a few of you who would be hungry for even more details so here goes (part 1)...

The Deluxe Edition:
Lots of goodies in here...first things first, we decided you deluxe buyers deserved a little something extra so you'll be receiving the album download 4 days ahead of street date so you can rage it all weekend long. We hope you don't mind.
As several of us were pretty heavy cassette collectors back in the day, this one was a long time coming. But rather than just bring you the album on cassette, we opted for the album demos to keep it interesting. These 9 tracks run the gamut both sonically and stylistically. It contains the original acoustic version of Search 4 which is unlike anything you've ever heard. This one has come a long one way since it's inception. The version of Conduit is about 15 years old & has this great trashy garage rock vibe. Lots of variation contained on this one (for better or worse).
The 3D hologram is new territory for us and we're loving it. We experimented with a few ideas and think you'll enjoy what we've come up with. This could very well be the first of many in this vain. The hologram will only be available as part of the deluxe package and not available separately so snap it up while you can. There are a limited number of deluxe editions avaialble so don't be late to that party.

So we've decided to have some fun with these offerings. We've sprinkled a little bit of everything in here and plan on making some extremely memorable events for a handful of you. Golf, baseball, dinner, drinks, studio time, our van - you name it, we've got it. Totally ridiculous and totally fun. In Studio Webcast:
We wanted to maintain the essence of the Mantis pre-order campaign but didn't want to just dump a pile of bonus tracks in your lap. So we've opted to incentivize with an experiential treat instead and grant all pre-orderers (regardless of type of purchase) access to an exclusive in studio webcast. We'll be hosting the event at I.V. Lab Studios where most of the record was recorded & mixed to give you a behind the scenes look at where we crafted Death By Stereo. This is a beautiful space and one that brings out the best in us. Expect the unexpected.
As more folks pre-order, levels can be unlocked and the webcast will grow in size & scope. Check in with the 8-track player on the pre order page to chart progress as indicated by the blinking lights. If the light is blinking, you've succesfully unlocked the level. Exact date & time coming soon but note that we'll be archiving the webcast for a week following the event in case you can't tune in live.
